Another highschool x-country meet on an extremely hot fall day!  A different persepective at the starting lineup --these feet were tired after!  Junior high boys ran awesome and placed first overall in the city for group points!!

This is what I love about where I live - beautiful sunsets on clear days that show such stunning silhouettes of the mountains.  Pardon the traffic in the forefront, but that's my view!

Was at a highschool cross country meet yesterday - how inspiring to see this young Down Syndrome boy come across the finish line!  He was getting high fives at the finish!

Summer isn't over!

I noticed how nice the light was as the sun set tonight, so I went out to play.  Trying something I read about on a photography blog - picking one focal length to shoot with rather than using the zoom on my lens.  Will try it for a few days!  Its all about getting out of the comfort zone!
